About Me

small-butterfly-flapping1Hello there!  Thanks for checking out my blog.

I was raised in a wonderful Italian, Catholic family.  I am so grateful to God for the family He blessed me with.  We are a pretty typical crazy, loud & fun bunch!  I am proud of my heritage and my family.

I was born again back in July of 1976 at a Young Life summer camp.  What blesses my heart is the memory of the first thing I remember the Lord doing in me.  I vividly remember suddenly having a heart filled with love.  I noticed that I truly cared for those in high school who were the “unlovable” types…I’m sure you know what I mean.  Well, when I got to college, I got involved in Campus Crusade for Christ & my relationship with Jesus exploded.  I began to grow by leaps & bounds.

I got married in my last semester of school.  After college, I was in the ministry for about 4 years.  The tragedy is that I was so steeped in legalism that it ultimately destroyed my life.  I didn’t know of God’s precious grace & the freedom that comes with it.   Around 1995, I discovered Bob George’s ministry on the radio called People to People.  God began to slowly change my life by changing my beliefs, but I didn’t realize then how truly bound I really was in my legalistic thinking/beliefs.  Well, I ultimately went through a divorce & the Lord continued lovingly getting my attention especially through my bad choices.  God’s GRACE & the EXCHANGED LIFE are now my passions & message of my life!!!  I love Jesus and enjoy intimacy with my Father and blessing His “body”.

me-my-boys-reformattedI do have 2 adult sons whom I love very much.  They are Anthony, 24 and Jonathan, 22.  I admire them both very much.  I love doing ”stuff” with them whether it’s golfing, eating out, watching hockey, sitting around just talking, playing video games, etc.  They inspire me and bring me joy!!!

I love people & love helpings others.  It is awesome to be able to be a “change agent” in someone’s life.  I do absolutely enjoy sharing God’s Word & watching Him work in other’s lives!

Blessings my friend!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Lord and how He has grown in you! I too have a story of blessing but I am a bit on the quieter side so I don’t speak out about it as much. Thank you for sharing with me.

    Anthony!
Your testimony shines forth the love and grace of God. I rejoice in what God has done, is doing, and is going to accomplish in your son’s lives, hold on to the promises concerning them. I was truly blessed in fellowship with you. We feel like missionaries here and have had very little fellowship as we are desiring to work out what God is so radically working in us. Blessings to you my friend.

    Hi Anthony,

So glad you have found a place extending God’s grace in and to those around you. I found Steve McVey’s book (Grace Walk) amazingly freeing when my Pastor gave it to all the congregation to read about 10 years ago. I use it in mentoring those bound to confusion and legalism. Am teaching a class this summer using it as well.

Amazing how God takes so many through similar paths to get on their knees in needing Him and then back up to minister to those just like us =)

    Bless you!

    Cindy

Hey Anthony… Few people in life, really live out their passions in a positive way as you do… So many times we chase our passions, only because of how they make us feel, rather than focusing our energy on the passions that God wants us to follow after… like loving the things HE loves, and hating the things HE hates….

keep up the Good Work……….. Stan

Hello Brother in Christ! What an awesome blog.. God is working in you in so many ways I see. God is doing many things in my life too, so much so that I don’t want to forget it! So I even created a blog to keep track of everything He’s doing in my life so I will never forget it.
